Slovenia Taxes Consumption More than Labour or Capital
Ljubljana, 28 February - The implicit tax rate on labour was 35.1% in 2011, compared to 23% for consumption and 20.5% for capital, the Statistics Office said Thursday in its first ever release on implicit tax rates, which are calculated as the ratio of total tax revenue to a tax base calculated on the basis of national accounts data.
