Slovenia Generated Less Municipal Waste in 2011
Luxembourg, 4 March - Slovenia generated 411 kilos of municipal waste per capita in 2011, which is 11 kilos less than a year earlier. The amount of waste that ended up in landfills remained the same, but the proportion of recycled waste decreased to 34% from 39%, data released by Eurostat on Monday shows.
