Banks Use Financial Transactions Tax to Raise Fees
Ljubljana, 7 March - Slovenian banks appear ready to shift the burden of the new 6.5% financial transactions tax that entered into force on 1 March to their customers. What is more, in most cases the price hikes will exceed the costs banks will have with the new tax, the Consumer Association (ZPS) said on Thursday.
