Parties Leaning Towards Jazbec as New Central Bank Governor

Ljubljana, 13 March - The first day of talks between deputy groups and President Borut Pahor on the three candidates for the new governor of central bank Banka Slovenije showed Boštjan Jazbec, a senior adviser with the IMF, to be the clear favourite. Jazbec is said to have already secured significantly more than the 46 votes needed for appointment.
