Skiing: Maze 3rd in Final Slalom, Loses Small Globe to Shiffrin

Lenzerheide, 16 March - Slovenian skier Tina Maze, who is this year's overall World Cup winner, failed to also secure final victory in the slalom rankings in Lenzerheide, Switzerland on Saturday. Although finishing third in the final slalom race, Maze had to concede to Mikaela Shiffrin of the US, who won the race ahead of Austria's Bernadette Schild.
