Foreign Ministry Says Sport Important in Fighting Racism

Ljubljana, 21 March - Sport can contribute much to greater tolerance and fighting racism, but can also pose problems when emotions of athletes and fans get heated, the Slovenian Foreign Ministry wrote on Thursday, observing the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, which goes under the motto "Racism and Sport" this year.
