NGO Reps Want MPs to Stop Procedure to Change Referendum Rules

Ljubljana, 3 April - Representatives of NGOs held a meeting Wednesday with parliamentary Speaker Janko Veber to debate means of direct democracy. The debate focused on constitutional changes to the referendum rules, which are close to a vote in parliament. NGO representatives called on MPs to stop the procedure in parliament.
