Contentious Aquilinia Gas Terminal Put on EU Priority List

Ljubljana, 5 April - The gas terminal planned by Italy in Aquilinia just off of the Slovenian border has made it onto a preliminary list of Projects of Common Interest (PCI), which gives it priority status in the EU. The daily Dnevnik described this on Friday as a serious blow to those fighting the project over environmental concerns.
