Statistics Show Number of Prisoners Steadily Increasing
Ljubljana, 16 April - Statistics on Slovenian prisons presented on Tuesday showed that the number of prisoners also continued to increase last year. The average number of people behind bars was up 6% to 1,418, while the total number of people in prison last year increased by 2.7% to a record 5,270.
