Footballer Šukalo Acquitted over Match Fixing

Maribor, 18 April - Goran Šukalo, a former member of Slovenia's national football team who currently plays for German second-division club Duisburg, was acquitted of involvement in an illegal sports betting syndicate on Thursday, while his co-defendant was found guilty and sentenced to two years in prison.
