Minority Author Boris Pahor Nominated for European Prize

Brussels, 22 April - Slovenian MEPs have put forward Trieste-based Slovenian author Boris Pahor for this year's European Citizens' Prize. The proponents believe that as a "critical writer and a great intellectual", Pahor has made a "priceless contribution" to the Slovenian language and to the cultural development of the area between Italy and Slovenia.
