Tovšak Refuses to Plead Guilty in EU Funds Abuse Case

Ljubljana, 25 April - Hilda Tovšak has rejected a plea bargain offered to the former boss of bankrupt builder Vegrad in the latest case against her which involves the embezzlement of EUR 3.5m in EU funds for the renovation of the Rimske terme spa. The trial, in which Tovšak is facing from 2 to 8 years in prison, has been scheduled for mid-May.
