Slovenia Reopens Bond Issue after Downgrade, Media Report

Ljubljana, 2 May - Media report Slovenia opened new order books on Thursday for the issue of dollar bonds, which it was forced to suspend on Tuesday, as rating agency Moody's downgraded the country's debt rating by two notches to junk-level Ba1. Rival rating firm Standard & Poor's is reported to have classified the issue as A-, which is upper medium grade.
