Minister Urges Steps to Normalise Health System, Threatens Resignation

Ljubljana, 8 May - Health Minister Tomaž Gantar hopes Slovenia will not raise the VAT rate as planned by the government, as such a move would increase health purse expenses by around EUR 15m, he said. It is essential that bills which have already been drafted to normalise the situation in the health system are adopted, Gantar said, otherwise he might resign.
