Stability Programme to Cut Expenditure by EUR 716.5M

Ljubljana, 10 May - The Stability Programme envisages a further reduction of public spending achieved through cuts to the public sector wage bill and pensions. The government will also implement restrictive policies in the area of social transfers and cap investments. A EUR 200m chunk of measures is yet to be negotiated.
