MPs Pass Changes to Criminal Procedure Act, Call for Additional Improvements
Ljubljana, 23 May - MPs unanimously passed on Thursday changes to the criminal procedure act, which among other things set down more detailed provisions regulating decisions on the detention of suspects. A need for more far-reaching changes given the recent judiciary scandals was stressed in the debate.
