Central Bank Governor Sees Slovenia Facing Challenging Period

Bled, 31 May - Outgoing Banka Slovenije Governor Marko Kranjec told a business conference in Bled on Friday that Slovenia is entering a period full of challenges, but that he "has to remain" optimistic. Kranjec said the ball was in the court of politicians now, although the positions of some parts of society, notably unions, suggest they face a tough job.
