Five Years Since Mega Defence Scandal, Patria Trial About to End

Ljubljana, 2 June - Monday could bring the end of a high-profile corruption trial involving the 2006 purchase of 135 armoured personnel carriers (APCs) by the government from Finland's Patria. The highest ranking defendant is ex-PM Janez Janša, under whose government the EUR 278m contract was signed and for whom the prosecution demands two years in prison.
