Patria Trial Wraps Up, Rulings Expected on Wednesday

Ljubljana, 3 June - The trial against three defendants accused of bribery in the 2006 defence deal with Finnish company Patria, including ex-PM Janez Janša, closed on Monday with the defence calling for acquittals and criticising what it sees as politically-motivated proceedings. The judge scheduled the announcement of the rulings for Wednesday.
