Slovenia to Explain Failure to Ban Corporal Punishment at UN Committee
Geneva, 6 June - Slovenia will attend the 63rd session of the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child in Geneva on Thursday to discuss the 2010 reports on the Convention on the Rights of the Child. According to the Labour, Family and Social Affairs Ministry, the country will have to explain why it has not yet banned corporal punishment of children.
