Committee Endorses Transition Period for Croatian Workers

Ljubljana, 12 June - The parliamentary Committee for Labour, Family, Social Affairs and the Disabled endorsed unanimously the government's proposal to impose a two-year transition period for Croatian workers after Croatia joins the EU on 1 July. The bill stipulates that Croatian workers will be treated as non-EU citizens until 30 June 2015.
