RTVS Protests against Abolition of Greek Public Broadcaster

Ljubljana, 14 June - Public broadcaster RTVS expressed on Friday support for the employees of the Greek public broadcaster ERT, which was abolished earlier this week as part of austerity measures in Greece. RTVS boss Marko Filli said in an open letter to the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) that abolishing a public broadcaster was a threat to democracy.
