Govt Visiting Troubled Podravje Region
Maribor/Ptuj, 21 June - The government will spend Friday on a visit to the Podravje region around Ptuj and Maribor, which is struggling with economic decline and high unemployment. On the eve of the visit, the cabinet confirmed a set of short-term measures, bringing a total of EUR 66.2m in incentives for reviving development in Maribor and its neighbours.
