Pirc Musar points to role of good neighbourly relations with Hungary

Hungary is a neighbour with which Slovenia wants to continue to have close and friendly ties, President Nataša Pirc Musar told her Hungarian counterpart Katalin Novak during official visit to Hungary on Wednesday. She stressed the role of good neighbourly relations even when the two countries do not share certain viewpoints.

Parliament to discuss no-confidence motion in govt

MPs will debate the Democrats' (SDS) motion of no confidence in the government on Wednesday. Fourteen hours are scheduled for the debate, which is expected to revolve mainly around a few issues, including abolition of the Museum of Slovenian Independence and the Demographic Affairs Office. The government has rejected the accusations as unfounded.

President Pirc Musar visiting Hungary

President Nataša Pirc Musar will pay her first official visit to Hungary on Wednesday. In addition to counterpart Katalin Novak, she will be received by Parliament President Laszlo Köver and Prime Minister Viktor Orban. The talks will focus on bilateral cooperation and the rights of the respective minorities in the two countries.
