Opposition Wants Bigger Cuts in Spending, Coalition Time

Ljubljana, 9 July - The opposition parties in Slovenia responded to European Commission's calls for Slovenia to step up efforts for reducing the budget deficit by saying that additional measures, including a new austerity budget, would be needed. But the coalition argues the measures adopted by the government have not been given time to deliver.
