Parliament Okays 10% Tax on Lottery Tickets
Ljubljana, 11 July - The National Assembly passed on Thursday the government-sponsored lottery ticket tax act introducing a 10% tax on every lottery and betting ticket sold. The tax will be paid by lottery operators, with the government expecting it to bring some EUR 7m in revenue this year.
