Government Adopts Erased Compensation Bill

Ljubljana, 25 July - The government adopted on Thursday a bill on compensation to the erased, around 26,000 people who were unlawfully stripped of permanent residency status in 1992. The bill proposes EUR 40 for each month without the status, which puts the estimated compensation costs for the state at EUR 76m.
