Festival Honours 60 Years of Avsenik Brothers Music
Begunje na Gorenjskem, 23 August - A three-day music festival in honour of the Avsenik Brothers Ensemble will start in the village of Begunje na Gorenjskem on Friday to mark 60 years of this legendary oompah band. The festival will feature over 30 domestic and foreign musicians who will play the Avseniks' most popular songs to an expected crowd of 6,000 people.
