Ministers Confirm Govt Mulling Cuts in Minimum Wage

Ljubljana, 19 September - To consolidate the country's public finance, the cabinet is mulling cuts in the minimum wage after the coalition has agreed not to cut pensions nor introduce a crisis tax as part of its talks on the 2014 budget. While unions are against any cuts in the EUR 783.66 gross minimum wage, employers would gladly scrap it.
