EU Commission Refuses to Speculate on Slovenia Bailout

Brussels, 27 September - The European Commission refuses to comment what it said was "speculation in the press" about the probability of Slovenia having to ask for aid from the eurozone bailout fund. "There are serious challenges, but the situation remains manageable provided the authorities act swiftly and decisively to address these," a spokesman said Friday.
