Slovenians Discard Over 80 Kilos of Food Per Capita

Ljubljana, 16 October - Almost 168,000 tonnes of food or 82 kilogrammes per capita was discarded in Slovenia in 2011. The high figure is however still 14% lower than in the year before, the Statistics Office said ahead of the World Food Day, celebrated on Wednesday.
