Committee Backs Bill Scrapping Indexation of Income Tax Brackets

Ljubljana, 17 October - The parliamentary Finance and Monetary Committee okayed late on Wednesday amendments to the income tax act which eliminate the automatic indexation of income tax brackets to inflation. The committee also confirmed a coalition amendment which introduces an extraordinary indexation in case the annual inflation exceeds 3%.
