Committee Okays Softer Registration Criteria for Religious Communities

Ljubljana, 30 October - The parliamentary Culture Committee endorsed on Thursday the government-sponsored changes to the religious freedoms act under which a religious community can be registered by at least ten adult members. The changes, which are being fast-tracked in parliament, follow the relevant decision of the Constitutional Court from 2010.
