Committee Approves Higher Compensation for Erased, They Remain Unhappy

Ljubljana, 5 November - The parliamentary Interior Policy Committee approved Tuesday a coalition-sponsored amendment which would provide higher compensation for people illegally erased from Slovenia's permanent residence registry in 1992. In line with the amendment, the compensation would stand at EUR 50 a month, a sum still deemed too little by the erased.
