Slovenian Children Learn Numbers Faster Because of Dual Case

Nova Gorica, 7 November - A study conducted among children from Slovenia, Saudi Arabia and California has shown that the presence of dual as grammatical number in a language influences the learning of numbers. Slovenian and Saudi Arabian children learn the meaning of number two earlier than Californian children, Franc Marušič of the University of Nova Gorica told the STA.
