Novartis Invested EUR 1.3BN in Lek Since Acquisition, CEO Says

Ljubljana, 19 November - Generics maker Lek sets a good example of how to succeed with home expertise and foreign capital, according to CEO Vojimir Urlep, who says that Novartis has invested EUR 1.3bn in the company since it acquired Lek in late 2002 for close to EUR 900m in what remains the biggest takeover in Slovenia to date.
