Ljubljana, 22 November - Economy Minister Stanko Stepišnik resigned after it emerged a firm partly owned by him was applying for ministry subsidies, which however is not in breach of legislation. The government survived a confidence motion in parliament and managed to push through the controversial real estate tax bill, which is to provide the much-needed budget revenue.
