Delo: Erased Compensation Act Passed to Please ECHR

Ljubljana, 22 November - It took Slovenia more than 8,000 days to provisionally right the terrible mistake it committed in 1992 by deleting 20,000 people from the permanent resident registry, the daily Delo says on Friday. The state is not repairing the wrong out of conviction that it is the right thing to do but to please the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR).
