Upper Chamber to Vote on Compensation for Erased

Ljubljana, 27 November - The National Council will decide Wednesday on whether to veto the act introducing a compensation scheme for some 12,000 of over 25,000 people who were deleted from Slovenia's registry of permanent residents in 1992. To override the veto, the lower chamber would have to secure an absolute majority in a revote.
