Slovenian Author Gets EU Prize for Novel on African Romance
Brussels, 27 November - Slovenia's Gabriela Babnik is among the twelve recipients of this year's EU Prize for Literature for up-and-coming authors. She earned the accolade for her novel "Sušna doba" (Dry Season), an unusual love affair set in Africa that is interlaced with magical realism.
