Inspectors Step Up Crackdown on Undeclared Work

Ljubljana, 27 November - Market inspectors have conducted 6,513 checks as part of the campaign to crack down on undeclared work this year, around 8% more than in the whole of last year. They issued 558 fines amounting to EUR 228,000 and banned illegal work in 491 cases, as well as filed 10 proposals for prosecution and issued 195 warnings.
