Govt Raises Excise for Cigarettes

Ljubljana, 28 November - Excise duties for cigarettes will increase by 4.1% as of 1 January under decrees adopted by the government on Thursday. The increase is estimated to raise an additional EUR 160,000 in monthly budget revenues.
