Better Informed, More Patients Seek Treatment Abroad
Ljubljana, 17 December - The manager of the health purse has recorded an increase in claims for reimbursement of costs of treatment abroad since the EU cross-border healthcare directive became effective in Slovenia on 6 November. However, an official says the reason is not so much the directive as greater public awareness about patients' rights.
