Commission Approves State Aid for Five Slovenian Banks

Ljubljana, 18 December - The European Commission approved state aid for five Slovenian banks on Wednesday, less than a week after the Slovenian government announced it would spend EUR 3.5bn to shore up the three leading banks and two small failed banks undergoing controlled liquidation.
