Law Changed to Curb Illegal Wine Sales

Ljubljana, 19 December - The National Assembly passed in a 42:23 vote on Wednesday changes to the legislation on wine in a bid to curb shadow economy among wine makers. Bars and restaurants will no longer be allowed to sell non-labelled wine, fines for selling unregistered wine were increased substantially and inspectors were given more jurisdiction.
