Skiing: Maze 2nd in Val d'Isere Downhill
Val d'Isere, 21 December - Slovenian skier Tina Maze finished second in the women's downhill World Cup race in Val d'Isere on Saturday for her best result of the season so far. Last year's overall World Cup winner was 0.29 seconds behind the surprise winner, Swiss skier Marianne Kaufmann-Abderhalden, while third place went to Austria's Cornelia Hütter (+0.52)
