Govt Endorses Former President's Candidacy for UN Sec-Gen

Ljubljana, 2 January - The government endorsed on Thursday a bid by Danilo Türk, the former Slovenian president (2007-2012), to vie for the post of secretary general of the United Nations for the 2017-2021 term.
