Hauliers, Minister Launch Negotiations, Postpone Protest
Ljubljana, 5 January - Road hauliers met with Infrastructure and Spatial Planning Minister Samo Omerzel on Sunday morning, agreeing to launch talks on hauliers' demands, among them one for lower tolls and fines. The hauliers have thus called off a protest planned for Monday morning in Ljubljana, which would have likely resulted in traffic chaos.
