SMEs Expect Credit Crunch to Worsen

Ljubljana, 18 January - Small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) in Slovenia grappled with poor access to financial sources last year and they expect a further deterioration this year. Poor credit ratings and inadequate collateral have been the most common reasons for banks to turn down their requests, a survey by the central bank has shown.
