ECHR Rules Against Slovenia for Taking 16 Years to Close a Gang Rape Case

Strasbourg, 23 January - The European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) has ruled against Slovenia and ordered it to pay EUR 15,000 to a gang rape victim because it took Slovenia's justice system 16 years to reach final verdicts against the men who participated in the rape perpetrated in 1990.
